Lt. Governor and State Officials to Unveil Cervical Cancer Task Force Report, New Awareness Program

LANSING – Lieutenant Governor John D. Cherry, Jr., will join Department of Community Health Director Janet Olszewski, Michigan’s Surgeon General Dr. Kimberlydawn Wisdom and members of Governor Granholm’s Cervical Cancer Task Force in Lansing on Wednesday, January 17 at 1:00 p.m. They will highlight the recommendations of the Cervical Cancer Task Force’s final report and unveil the National Lieutenant Governor’s Association’s “Ending Cervical Cancer in our Lifetime” National Campaign.

The press conference will take place in the Governor’s press auditorium on the first floor of the Romney building, which is located at 111 S. Capitol Ave., Lansing
