NOTICE:
Anyone who registers after Tuesday, March 13,
2012 at 5:00 PM EST may not be admitted and, if admitted, will not appear on attendance lists, will
experience a delay at registration, and may have incomplete
materials.
Registration Steps
1. Click on agenda above and print off the agenda. Review the
agenda and determine length of stay. The most recent agenda
available is always posted. Check back periodically. Each agenda
is dated at the top for you to determine the most recent version.
2. Make your own airline reservations. Should you book on Delta,
NLGA asks you to put the following Skybonus number on your
ticket. This is NO cost to you, you still earn FF miles. This is
simply a way to provide non-dues support to your association.
The Skybonus account number is US466034572. You also need
to arrange your own hotel-airport transportation, which may be
via taxi (roughly $18 one way from Reagan).
3. Call the Westin City Center at 1-800-937-8461 or click
here
to
make reservations. Make reservations ASAP if you think you may
attend. No rooms are held for lt. governors and we may sell out.
*As posted on February 6, 2012, rooms were very limited and the
block is now (2/20/12) sold out.
If you are a Lt.
Governor and are having problems making a reservation,
please call NLGA staff asap at 859-283-1400. Click on Hotel Information (above) for more information.
You may be able to get a room in the hotel, but not at the block
rate. Alternatively, The Donovan House is directly out the
back door of the NLGA hotel lobby, and The Madison is around the
corner. When the block was
available, you asked for the "National Lieutenant Governors Association" room block and you received a rate
starting at $239/night while rooms lasted.
4. Click on the online registration form above. You MUST
register online so NLGA may prepare your materials. Without it, NLGA
is unaware of your attendance. NLGA does not
set up on-site registration so unregistered persons will
experience delays and may have incomplete materials. For securitypurposes, only registered persons receive a badge,
and only badged individuals may enter a room or bus.
Note: Registration fees: $400 per NLGA member,
$100 per NLGA staff member, $75 per spouse of a NLGA member or
staff person. A NLGA member is a member Lt. Gov., Sen.
Pres., or Sec. of State. To pay by check, choose check or
purchase order on that screen and then "Complete Registration."
*Security: EVERY person
will be asked to show photo ID to pick up a their own badge.
No person will be able to enter any room, event or bus without
their badge. There will be no exception. State
Patrol may attend the meeting for no registration fee but NLGA
asks you complete online registration so you receive
announcements. State Patrol officers must wear the
universally distributed ID PIN or their state pin.
