NLGA is currently accepting sponsors for this meeting. NLGA is a 501 (c ) (3).

As with all NLGA Annual Meetings, this meeting is an invitation only meeting open to current members, Conference Associate Partners (CAPs), and meeting sponsors.

NOTICE: Anyone who plans to enter any one session, bus ride, meal or event must register.  Individuals with a relationship to NLGA, as defined below, may register.  NLGA may deny any registration.  The registration deadline is 12:00 Noon EDT July 10th, 2012.  Anyone registering after that time will not appear on attendance lists, will experience a delay at registration, may have incomplete materials, and may be denied admittance at the door.  Registered persons must pick up their own badge at registration during registration hours and show photo ID, no exceptions.

To register, click the online registration form above. You MUST register online so NLGA can verify your registration eligibility and prepare your materials. Without it, NLGA is unaware of your attendance. NLGA does not set up on-site registration so unregistered persons will experience delays, may have incomplete materials, and can be denied access to the meeting.  For security purposes, only registered persons receive a badge, and only badged individuals may enter a room, event, or bus.  Registration types and fees:  The NLGA meeting is open to its members and staffs, to CAPs members, and sponsors. Registration fees are $400 per NLGA member and $100 per NLGA staff member or spouse/significant other/adult child of a NLGA member or staff person.  A NLGA member = Lt. Gov., Sen. Pres., or Sec. of State.  To pay by check, choose check or purchase order on that screen and then hit "Complete Registration."  CAPs receive one or two complimentary registrations based on level of membership.  Any other registration may only be obtained by becoming a sponsor, see sponsor level list.  Press should pre-register and are complimentary for open sessions (only) and will be asked to show press credentials, photo ID, and provide a business card at registration.  EVERY person will be asked to show photo ID and pick up only their own badge.  No person will be able to enter any room, event or bus without a badge.  There will be no exception.  Badges will be available only during registration hours at the registration desk.  *SecurityState Patrol officers (only) may attend the meeting for no registration fee but NLGA asks you complete online registration so you receive announcements.  State Patrol officers must wear the universally distributed NGSA ID Pin.  Offices/officers should call the hotel directly to request accommodations adjacent a principal and NLGA cannot guarantee this.

FYI - The deadline to file a resolution with NLGA is June 22, 2012.  The deadline for nomination for the Public Leadership in the Arts award was May 18, 2012.  For more information, please contact NLGA Deputy Director Morgan Mundell at mmundell@

Registration Steps
1. Click on agenda above and print off the agenda. Review the agenda and determine length of stay. The most recent agenda available is always posted. Check back periodically. Each agenda is dated at the top for you to determine the most recent version.

2. Make your own airline reservations. Should you book on Delta, NLGA asks you to put the following Skybonus number on your ticket. This is NO cost to you, you still earn FF miles. This is simply a way to provide non-dues support to your association. The NLGA Skybonus account number is US466034572.  You also need to arrange your own hotel-airport transportation, which may be via taxi (roughly $50 one way from the airport).  Parking fees are $45 a day with valet parking being the only option.

3. Call 1-800-HILTONS and make hotel reservations ASAP if you think you may attend. No rooms are held for lt. governors and we may sell out. Ask for the "National Lieutenant Governors Association" room block and you will receive a rate starting at $189/night plus 11% sales tax and 15.4% hotel tax.  Rooms at the room block are available until June 15, 2012.  Your credit card will be charged for one night's stay when making a reservation.  Click on Hotel Information (above) for more information. If you are a Lt. Governor and are having problems making a reservation, please call NLGA staff at 859-283-1400.
